We are a SA-based public benefit organisation empowering communities in the Western Cape to improve the lives of people made vulnerable by unemployment and addiction.
Volunteering your time is a life-changing experience. We create a safe platform for you to apply your skills in support of a cause that resonates with your heart - whether that is packing a food parcel, planting a tree, or teaching our work groups some new skills.
Most often our projects develop from the hearts of volunteers and participants in our projects, with the Entwined Roots trust coming alongside to nurture and grow its impact through funding and infrastructure support.
This is the foundation for growth, the seeds that are planted in the hearts of our people to bring change and to stir up hope, creating life-giving branches that bear much fruit.

As a group that has come together from all walks of life, our roots have become entwined in deep community living, building friendships that become family, and establishing beautiful partnerships that seek out thoughtful solutions to the challenges of our time.
Following the example of Jesus in how we engage the world, we seek to share the good news, feed the hungry, free those in captivity, and restore the broken-hearted.
